The school has operational workshops and laboratories. The students love the work in Electronics, Photography, Carpentry, Sculpture and Clay-Modeling under the guidance of instructors. Laboratories for Home Science and Geography have also been developed.

For Sciences, three new spacious laboratories have been added with high quality apparatus and instruments.

Computer literacy is an essential part of the curriculum and is introduced from class I level. There are 4 computer labs equipped with LCD monitors LAN and Internet access. The Foundation of Information Technology is a compulsory subject for class IX/X students. A student may pursue Computer Science or Information Practices as a subject in class XI/XII

The emphasis of our teaching especially up to the middle school is on “I do, I learn”. In the LRC, the students are given direct experience of acquiring knowledge through participation. This helps them in forming a conceptual base in subjects like Science, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Languages etc. There are separate LRC’s for junior and senior students.

Teaching aids like DVD Players, LCD Projector are available in the air-conditioned A.V. Room. Teachers and students regularly use these teaching aids and gadgets. We have a good collection of video and audiocassettes and CD’s/DVD’s to meet the requirements for supplementing studies and as a source of recreation.

The school has a well-stocked library with more than 12000 books; National and International Journals so that the students get to know, absorb and retain the resource materials for their intellectual stimulation and for application in the course of life as and when required.. The junior wing has a separate library in which books and magazines suitable to their age are kept. Students are given one period per week to make use of the library. They are allowed to go to library in other periods to consult the books to enrich their knowledge. In addition, the librarians provide help and advice on study skills and research topics. Most of functions of library are computerized for prompt disposal of needs and queries.

The school has a canteen where unadulterated snacks/food at reasonable rates is ensured. The students are allowed to the canteen only during recess. Price and quality of the items is checked from time to time.

The school has a fleet of eight buses to cover various routes in Kidwai Nagar, Ratanlal Nagar, Pandu Nagar, Swaroop Nagar, Azad Nagar, Nawab Ganj, Vishnupuri, Vikas Nagar, Armapur, Kalyanpur, Cantonment, Civil Lines and other negotiable areas. This is available to the students at a reasonable charge. Accommodation in the school transport is limited and has to be applied for in advance on a prescribed form. Admission to the school does not mean allocation of a seat in the school bus.
