Puranchandra Vidyaniketan, Kanpur, the flagship school of Education Initiative of Dainik Jagran, was established in the year 1991 in the sacred memory of Late Shri Puranchandra Gupta Ji, founder of Dainik Jagran,the largest reading Hindi Newspaper of the country.
In three decades the school has achieved a 'Place of pride' amongst the progressive schools of our region. It is my unwavering conviction that in a world which is changing every millisecond education needs to evolve at a similar pace.
Our school Puranchandra Vidyaniketan progressed and evolved under the able chairmanship of late shri Yogendra Mohan Gupta ji who had laid the foundation and established a chain of K-12 school in various parts of the country. We genuinely believe in his principles and sincerely wish to live up to them. Those we love son't go away but walk beside us in our hearts and memories. We wish to live up to his ideals and help Jagran reach the pinnacle.
